KSTAR showcased its upgraded UPS products and grid energy storage solutions for the first time at the 130th Canton Fair, which returned to on-site exhibitions from 15 to 19 October in Guangdong Province, southern China.

With an exhibition area of 400,000 square metres and 7,795 exhibiting companies, the 130th Canton Fair was not only China's largest on-site exhibition but also the world's largest trade show held during the pandemic. After three consecutive online editions, the biennial event returned to an in-person format for the first time. Visitors from around the world were invited to experience KSTAR's advanced technologies.

The highlight of KSTAR's booth was its smart grid energy storage solutions. This highly integrated energy storage solution is housed in a 20-foot or 40-foot container, reducing installation time and operation and maintenance costs while ensuring safety and reliability. It addresses the limitations of traditional energy storage solutions and delivers improved performance in energy generation, storage and consumption.

In addition to energy storage, KSTAR also presented its data centre infrastructure solutions in the following areas:
MP Series UPS Power Supply Solutions
The MP series online UPS features a compact footprint, built-in batteries and DSP control. The 6–10 kVA model is only 2U high. It also offers enhanced performance and shorter delivery times, making it popular in global markets since its launch.
IDB Containerised Data Centre Solutions
The IDB smart container data centre is a prefabricated, modular, all-in-one data centre solution housed inside an ISO-standard container. It can be shipped anywhere in the world and installed within a day, making it a flexible and scalable solution for cloud and edge computing applications.

"Carbon neutrality is a shared mission for the entire world. We are delighted to showcase our green UPS systems, data centre solutions and, especially, our battery energy storage solutions to customers around the world. KSTAR's PV and storage solutions aim to accelerate the transition to low-carbon energy generation and meet the growing demands of the renewable energy industry," said Bevis Wang, Vice President of International Sales at KSTAR.
