KSTAR offers all-in-one string inverter & CATL energy storage system for improved safety

Chinese inverter manufacturer KSTAR has introduced its new BluE-S-5000D series, an all-in-one single-phase energy storage solution that combines KSTAR inverters with CATL battery technology. This hybrid solar system provides continuous power, with energy stored in high-performance CATL batteries.

Situation

Traditional hybrid power generators typically run on diesel or petrol. To reduce environmental impact, hybrid inverter systems offer an effective alternative. However, battery quality is essential to ensuring the safety and reliability of these systems.

Solution

According to KSTAR, the BluE-S-5000D series is its latest all-in-one single-phase energy storage product, offering a safe, smart and highly efficient solution for residential applications. Designed to deliver reliable performance and a long service life, the BluE-S-5000D combines an AC-coupled CATL battery module with a KSTAR inverter. It also features low maintenance requirements and easy installation.

The BluE-S-5000D series comes with a 5-year product warranty and a 10-year performance warranty, as well as 24/7 monitoring through the KSTAR Cloud app. To provide a fast response and uninterrupted power supply, the single-phase hybrid inverter features an intelligent modular design and online monitoring via the ESS app. In certain countries, it also supports programmable time-of-use tariffs, allowing users to charge the battery during off-peak hours at night and use the stored energy during more expensive afternoon peak periods.

Applications

The BluE-S-5000D series is designed for PV self-consumption, backup power, fuel-saving applications, battery expansion, load shifting and off-grid solutions.

Platform

The BluE-S-5000D series features an IP65-rated design, offering enhanced protection against water and dust while maintaining an attractive appearance. Internally, the all-in-one system features concealed cable routing. Its smart technology and advanced internal design are optimised for demanding operating environments, allowing the hybrid system to operate under harsh conditions, including storage temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C, salty air and high humidity.
