Industry Trends News, 2020.5.9

In December 2019, KSTAR completed a 100 MW project with China National Nuclear Corporation in Ningxia. At the time of writing, the project had been operational for four months. It is expected to generate an average of 143.47 million kWh of grid-connected electricity annually over 25 years, contributing to poverty alleviation and local economic development in Tongxin County.
Although Tongxin County faces challenging environmental conditions, the local government is committed to attracting businesses and investment. The project is expected to create more than 100 jobs for the local workforce.
KSTAR supplied 32 units of its GSM3125C-MV Integrated Transformer Solution (ITS) for the project, which covers approximately 300 hectares of grassland and wasteland.
The turnkey solution features a high capacity ratio (maximum DC/AC ratio of up to 1.5), full power output at temperatures below 50°C, a modular design for easy maintenance, and IP54-rated outdoor protection. These features significantly reduce the construction period and associated costs.
As the global PV industry continues to mature, cost reduction and quality improvement have become inevitable market trends. As a leading manufacturer, KSTAR is committed to providing high-quality, innovative PV solutions that meet customer demands.
