KSTAR announces supply of first energy storage system with CATL technology in Netherlands

KSTAR, a leading global provider of solar inverters and energy storage systems (ESS), is pleased to announce the delivery and operation of its first Blue Series all-in-one ESS system in the Netherlands. The system combines KSTAR inverter technology with CATL battery solutions.

The technical success of this ESS solution is the result of the joint venture between KSTAR and CATL. The close cooperation between the two companies makes the all-in-one residential ESS solution more powerful, secure and efficient. CATL is the world's largest battery supplier.

As battery storage becomes an important alternative to traditional methods of strengthening energy infrastructure, its rapid deployment can provide multiple services, often at a lower cost. As a result, the energy storage industry is booming in markets around the world, with more people recognising its importance for renewable energy integration. KSTAR provides energy storage solutions featuring CATL battery technology and is seeing the benefits of this growing market. The company has now announced its first ESS installation in the Netherlands.

KSTAR and CATL are combining their respective strengths and resources to jointly develop and explore the global energy storage market, particularly in the Netherlands, Italy and other European countries. First supplied in the Netherlands, KSTAR's all-in-one single-phase energy storage solution featuring CATL technology has an IP65 protection rating, offering enhanced protection against water and dust while maintaining an attractive appearance. The system features concealed internal cable routing. Its smart technology and advanced internal design are optimised for demanding operating environments, allowing the hybrid system to operate under challenging conditions. These include storage temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C, as well as exposure to salty air and humidity.

To provide customers with a fast response and uninterrupted power supply, the single-phase hybrid inverter features an intelligent modular design and online monitoring through the ESS app. In certain countries, it also supports programmable time-of-use tariffs, allowing users to charge the system overnight during off-peak periods and use the stored energy during more expensive afternoon peak periods.
